Passive Income Programs

I have been very disappointed by the passive income programs these past two years. It seems they all crash and burn at some point. I'm just not willing to put any more money in that direction. Even the most stable ones seem to be vulnerable to toppling. Just a hint of problems and the word spreads and before you know they have liquidity problems and are shutting down ...

Instead I'm working with various leverage programs and developing my marketing skills. Most recently, I have paid to have a marketing system with my blog as the hub. It's currently in the process of being set up for me and I am very excited about seeing it. I have been preparing for it by developing my program review blog writing skills. More to come about this as I learn what it involves.

In the meantime, don't give up hope, keep building your knowledge base and skills. Move towards what interests you. We all walk a unique path.

Program Update

Filler Up Club -- This one is progressing slowly but surely. They have had to overcome various obstacles relating to financial institutions that will work with them. It seems like they have done well to overcome each problem. I like their tenacity and integrity. I feel ready to invest in one of their fuel vouchers now. This one has massive market appeal in the US and Canada and easy to recruit on or off line.

Just Been Paid -- I feel this one is not delivering the paid referrals fast enough to satisfy the non-recruiters. I have been in this one now for over a month and still have not received my paid referrals, although my sponsor was in the founders group has received 2 of his 4. I will be hesitant to renew my membership if this factor is not adjusted for the non-recruiters. However it is run by excellent leadership and remains a very solid program for marketers with a multi-layered approach to multiple income streams.

List-Zilla -- I just added this one as it looks like it could be excellent for non-recruiters. I dropped my autoresponder with GetResponse and have been looking for an affordable, high quality new one with a way to build a large list. Growing my list with GetResponse was expensive and slow. This one has huge potential and is perfect for me at this time. It could be the answer for growing a large list (essential to any marketer) for sending out marketing campaigns PLUS it can be a money earner! I am excited about the possibilities here and willing to get in early and find out.

My passive Income Programs (seen in side menu) are progressing well. They continue to pay out and seem to be surviving the ups and downs subject to any HYIP. Latest news:

BC and Manitoba in Canada are currently questioning Genius Funds due to a partipicpant advertising in local newspaper.
GNI is working through a recovery process largely due to having a large amount of funds in one of their banks getting frozen (completely unrelated to them) yet impacting them immensely. Great track record, honest communication and huge following of loyal members. (program shut down on March 9th 2010)
Panamoney is progressing fine as far as I can tell -- very cool to see live trading and get daily profit charts. Highly rated.

TVI (Travel Ventures International) -- I just got paid to STP with this one but my funds were delayed by 2 weeks and I had to phone the offices 3 times. I think they have become extra strict about security measures for paying out. Your ability to move through the boards depends on someone under you continuing to build the business. If you are willing to put in 3 positions and work with my sponsor who is extremely confident and likes to do the 3 way calls to assist anyone on our team, then you could do very well with this program -- My sponsor believes this program offers one of the easiest ways for the average person to do well financially. The best part is that you can fund the positions yourself. Most of us are doing this program because it's a relatively easy way to make excellent money. I haven't personally tried the product travel vouchers but hope my daughter will try using one of them so I can report on that.

Sokule -- I signed up for this site when it first came out and I am now returning to it as I have been getting quite a few trackers lately and I want to find ways to advertise more effectively. I really like how easy it is to use -- very user friendly. I am just trying to decide on which level to upgrade to for more marketing power.

Passive Income and Passion

I like my passive programs although one can't rely on them for primary income. It's too nerve wracking...I've seen too many go under and even honest programs be torn asunder by destructive forces out in the world. But I still haven't lost my hope and desire to find the ones that are working and that have the strength and fortitude to survive the challenges.

I also have a few recruiting style programs but just can't seem to put my passion into them when I see the wake of failure by other participants or lack of delivery by the program. This has me turning more and more to making my own jewelry and beginning to market it.

Truly, I think we are all looking for something that we can put our passion into, hence the hopping from program to program, which is simply a reflection of people looking for that something that will set them on fire. People are magnetically drawn to those who hold a passion for something. Still one needs to find their own passion. You can only ride on the coat tails of another for so long. Sometimes we discover that their passion is false. It's a journey of discovering a passion that is true and one that is our own.

The world is our stage for learning about ourselves. To a very great extent the internet arena has been an opportunity for me to hone my discernment. I look more and more to my feelings about a program. I ask my heart for guidance before I invest a significant amount. It's the individual task we all have to take and no one can do it for us. I've made that mistake a few too many times, putting my trust in someone I trusted only to find out that they had been a pawn of deception. I've been on both sides of that scenario and I don't like the feel of being on the front or the back of that situation... It all comes back to yourself. Everyone has to make their own journey back to their heart.

I have explored various programs and I can see how they work well for different types of marketers. I think you really have to assess what kind of marketer you are. I don't think there is a high proportion of serious marketers. Most people just want a simple program where they can earn money. Few people like to recruit others and not many people have a systematic method of working their business.

Now let's take a look at a few of the programs I have recently dealt with:

GVO is for the serious internet marketer who wants to brand themself and employ the latest methods for building a list of prospects because they will appreciate the one stop shop products that they can use here. This type of person is comfortable with using their computer and learning new technologies. They will have no trouble marketing the value of the program and finding successful avenues to market it. This program could also be promoted by the basic marketer who uses free advertising techniques such as posting, safelists and traffic surfing, as this program has a lucrative mlm compensation plan. This type of marketer will not necessarily be benefiting from the value of the products, but rather the mlm revenue aspect of it.

I found another option that is more suited to my style, my budget and my learning curve which I will share with you. (Just click on the link.)

TVI (Travel Ventures International) is a simpler program that some people are calling a money game and others say it is a legitimate program with product and global administrative offices. The product is a Travel Voucher that costs $250 and a travel club membership where you can find travel deals and book trips. This program is based on simply finding 2 other people who want to earn $10,000 with the program. This program is great for the basic marketer and the social marketer.

My Two Best Friends has been refined and tweaked by the founder over and over. It is for the basic internet marketer. I call it Business in a Box because it is so automated and well thought through. This program can be picked up and run with by a complete newbie such as the social marketer. One thing to keep in mind is that it presents to us the most idealistic picture and few people will find 2 people over and over again that will carry it through. However the videos are now in place to train everyone how to duplicate success. Still I think it is more ideal for the basic marketer who will keep promoting it.

Net Penny Stocks is based on a trading concept of virtual stocks. I started it awhile ago but didn't really get it so let it slide to the back burner. It was only this week that my friend who likes to do free advertising as a basic marketer said that he is making weekly cash with it. One week he even made $708 with it. He said that his strategy was just to start out slow with it and start buying some individual shares for $1.95 and gradually add more purchases as he was earning. This one is a great one for the basic marketer.

Defining Various Types of Marketers:

1. Serious Marketer: has set up an autoresponder mailing system, making their own landing pages and experimenting with videos of self to brand themselves in the marketplace.

2. Basic Marketer: will do various free advertising and promoting using safelists, ad posting, traffic surfing...

3. Social Marketer: has developed contacts on line or off line that they can approach about opportunities and has built up trust with their friends. In this way they can get a few referrals for their various programs.

Re-thinking My Portfolio

I've been doing a lot of thinking about the different revenue sharing programs and I can really see that it requires one of two strategies: 1) investing a lot of money or 2) recruiting a lot of people so that you can get sponsor matches. Keep in mind that it ties you to your computer to view ads each day. I think I'm going to hold off going full speed into all of them and continue to build on programs that return a similar amount yet do not require surfing.

Revenue Sharing with Advertising

There are a number of different revenue sharing sites focussed on advertising where you can just advertise your business or become a paid viewer and earn. There are some excellent options available on the internet:

1. Ad-Ventures4U -- family run, successful business model, operating for 6 mo. and gaining momentum

So far I have been with Ad-ventures4u for 2 months and it is progressing well. I'm gradually building my ventures with them. You can see all of the members ventures, earnings and referral earnings as they are manually posted on the site throughout the week.

2. Ad View Global Association -- professional, cutting edge,, global appeal

Ad View Global Assoc. is the upcoming big star I believe and it's a great time to participate in their first time member promotions. I am trying to gather some extra funds to put in this one. It's easier to participate with this one now that they have added STP.

3. Tame-the-Net -- new in March and smooth running -- easy to get going

Tame-the-Net was super easy to get funded with AP and STP and I could see my earnings at the end of the first day. Just not sure who is running the program.

4. Ad Gate World -- up and coming site with global scope

Diversify, Diversify!

With 3 of my 5 programs temporarily hung up I am realizing how important it is to have a strong portfolio of diversification. My situation right now is that my 2 other bases are not built up like the first 3, so I can't rely on them for much income. Plus I'm wanting to add on another base for a total of 6.

Well I'm just going to have to get those other business bases going more. I really find that if you're not willing to put in a kickstart amount of several hundred dollars, say $500, than you have a long, long wait in building your businsess centre. But it's a good idea to start small and check them out first. As soon as my first few centres start paying out decently I'm investing in my other bases which I have now done my prelimary evaluation on.

Just wanted to let you know that my initial suspicions and lack of confidence in Phantom Profits is turning out to be valid. Our back offices have disappeared into space for the past 5 days. I really need to stick with my own intuitions and not follow after someone else's. We all should all do that. After all, this is great training ground for honing our intuitions.

Some programs I didn't have to surf, all I had to do is wait for them to make a bunch of money playing forex or trading on the money exchange, I quess they are still trading because I still haven't received my earnings and when I go to log in, hmmmm page is not there. NOT HERE!!!

Ad-Ventures4u is growing well and the simplest of programs for making money. The owners are so very real and simple folk really but have great ethics and business know how. This one has been making members 14% each week on their Ventures for the past few weeks.

Have you noticed all the team build matrix teams coming out of the wordwork? Team Orange-moon has started a whole new trend on the internet. In theory it makes great sense but I'm not sure how it works out in practice. Well actually my best program is private. I have found that many good passive income programs go private at some point. This is done often to regulate and manage growth. But I always like to a have a few public programs that I can share so the one I feel most keen on is:
Ad-Ventures 4 u which I have been in for about 3 weeks and it is growing at a rapid pace. Here is some information from one of our members that rings true for me.

I just now started telling people I know about this, because I wanted to make sure that it worked the way they said it would before I shared this information.

The name of the company is AdVentures4u. It's an honest, family owned advertising site.

Their hallmark is honesty and integrity and I can vouch for that.

It's an advertising company, and as a pro (paid) member you can advertise your own website or any affiliate site that you have.

I try to find programs that are win-win. I have learned that I don't like being on the bottom or at the top of programs where only 3% of the group is earning. Perhaps you are wondering why I don't like being at the top? It's because I don't like seeing people under me having difficulty recruiting and then feeling disappointed once again. This one fits the bill perfectly because it involves team building and there were no onerous monthly fees. For $15 I got 13 positions. Plus I can buy more positions when I have the extra funds to help fill my matrix. Each purchase adds 13 positions ,so you can see how it fills up faster with less effort.

Synopsis:

One time $15 fee to join. Matrix has 9840 positions (requires only 757 people) where you get 13 positions in 3x8 matrix. I had an interesting situation with my internet marketing buddy. He was excited about a program called Phantom Profits so I joined with him. But after taking a look at it and researching it, I couldn't find much on it (no track record...) and my confidence in it took a dive. I was ready to walk away after 2 weeks, before my 2nd and last payment came due even though I had accumulated $3,300 in my back office. So yesterday I asked my buddy what his confidence level (0 to 10) was for them paying out after 60 days. He said TEN! and then said that the two private programs I introduced him to were where his doubts came in, but that we helped to balance each other. Strange how different our perceptions are! This really shows me how very different we can be in where we put our belief and confidence. Personally, I have to get a feel for the owner through interviews and hearing them speak before I can feel confident. I also realize that we can only create according to our beliefs and what we feel so I really have to have the belief factor strongly present for any program I choose to market. We shall see how this one turns out; we have just under 6 weeks left to find out and my friend is already up to $16,000 in his back office. Maybe its the name that spooks me. I know I needed my belief level bolstered just to stay with it. I really hope he's right on this one! We'll let you know as we're putting it to the test - in our "trial and error research study" called internet marketing. As my partner/buddy said, it's not THAT much effort to test this one out.

Searching for the Right Program?

I'd have to say that all the preliminary start-ups have been an important part of my education. They have helped me to understand what is out there, what's available, what it takes to effectively advertise, and what my likes and dislikes are. Isn't it better to commit oneself to the best programs in the first place? So it takes some time to figure that out.

In scanning the landscape of internet marketing, one of my goals was to come up with a selection of high quality programs of various assortment that I could highly recommend to people, in such a way that I could facilitate a good fit for them. After all, that's what I do best -- learning about someone and then fitting them with the appropriate resources. That was my job when I worked for 5 years as a facilitator/teacher in Home Education. I would also like to share my thoughts. I've been slogging, yes slogging, full-time in internet marketing for 8 - 10 months now and have learned a great deal -- that's an understatement. I would love to share what I have learned, to save you from some of the pitfalls. But I'd have to say that a certain amount of sorting through everything is probably a necessary part of the experience. It's like learning on the job, some things just can't be learned by the book or being told. It's truly an experiential, discovery process in learning what fits best and feels right. Of course, there's all the technical aspects that need to be gained along the way.... lots to learn, but if I can do it so can you!
